Christine Demuth is an actor and singer in the DC/Baltimore area. She has been delighted to work regionally with Folger Theatre, Rep Stage, Baltimore Center Stage, StillPointe Theatre, Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Adirondack Shakespeare Festival, Single Carrot Theatre, EMP Collective, Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, VSA arts/ The Kennedy Center, Stanislavsky Theatre Studio, Chicago’s Promethean Theatre Ensemble, and NYC’s Shakespeare in the Raw.
A trained singer since the age of twelve, she has had the honor to sing at Carnegie Hall as part of the Rosa Ponselle Showcase Concert and has played leading roles in many musicals including Little Edie in StillPointe Theatre's acclaimed production of Grey Gardens and Brianna in the World Premiere of The Missing Peace by Ron Melrose.
Christine graduated from The American University with a BA degree in Performing Arts: Theatre and Secondary Education. As a Teaching Artist, she has worked for Everyman Theatre, Park Arts Camp, Interact Story Theatre/ Creative Kids and The Lab School of Baltimore where she created living history lessons and portrayed historical characters as part of their “Live it, Learn it” Academic Club Program.
Christine is a company member at StillPointe Theatre where she also serves as the resident dramaturg.
